Aspectos ecológicos de Phoradendron undulatum (Pohl) Eichler, Viscaceae, en los alrededores de Popayán, Cauca

Resumen

En el presente trabajo se estudiaron algunos aspectos ecológicos, y el establecimiento del endófito de la hemiparásita Phoradendron undulatum (Pohl) Eichler, comúnmente conocida como “matapalo”, en uno de los huespederos más frecuentes de frutales como Psidium guajava, de zonas intervenidas ubicadas en los alrededores del municipio de Popayán. Los principales aportes de este estudio están relacionados con la frecuencia de hospedero, distribución en el área de estudio y algunos aspectos importantes de la dispersión de las semillas, desde la germinación hasta planta madura.
