Clarifications on the article "Fauna Amphibia of the Department of Cauca" published in Colombian News No. 6 of June 1996
Abstract
On page 68 the text of figure 6. Eleutherodactylus jaimei points as a typical locality: El Tambo Municipality, Tambito hacienda of the Proselva foundation, 2190 m, when the correct is the Department of Cauca, El Tambo Municipality, "La Playa" farm (or "the Spring"), along the San Joaquin River, 75 km down from the Tambo, 1200-1500 m (See original description in Journal of Herpetology, Vol. 26, No 1, pp. 53-59 of 1992, article of JD Lynch).
The published list of pages 62-64 corresponds to the species collected and sent to the Institute of Natural Sciences of the National University of Colombia, by Dr. Negret for identification. The species Bufo coniferus, Bufo typhonius, Centrolene sp., and Hyla rosembergi must not have an asterisk (*) since they were not collected in Tambito during the field work carried out in 1993 by Pedro Ruiz et al.
