Catalog of the Plants of Munchique National Park

Abstract

For the elaboration of this first catalog of the plants of the Munchique National Park, the existing collections in the Herbarium of the Institute of Sciences of the National University and that of the University Foundation of Popayán were reviewed. Several monographs and other works of specialists available in the author's library were also reviewed.

As the bibliography on the Flora of Colombia is abundant, but very scattered, the list will be increased in the future. In addition, the collections in Munchique are currently being intensified. We hope this work will facilitate the identification of numerous specimens pending study.
