Abstract

You became a university professor when academic work was concentrated on teaching. The subject matter was the object of discussion and teaching its realization. The development of research, quality accreditation processes, the publication of articles in indexed journals and the offer of extension services were not a part (at least not a priority) of the university agenda. From the beginning, it was clear to you that your main occupation would be teaching even when innovation and administration activities overlapped in your teaching work. You grew old within a system fascinated by the new.
