Kienböck disease, case report
Abstract
A case of Kienböck’s disease, defined as a rare clinical condition characterized by pain and limited movement of the radio-carpal joint restricting activities of daily living with impairment in social role and occupational. It is the physician who makes the diagnosis. When the patient is referred for functional rehabilitation, physiotherapist should perform the evaluation using the International Classification of Functioning, Disability and states of Health (ICF), in order to establish the more appropriate treatment plan to allow functionality of the hand.Downloads
