Editorial: First steps to a necessary change

Abstract

Imagination and enthusiastic care for our patients and for medical education are the first steps in the generation of creative projects -that sometimes- do not require sophisticated technology or significant resources. But, creativity alone is not enough for high quality research. Management facilities, financial support, active participation of the departments and mentorship are suitable and necessary conditions for research.
