Abstract
Administrative conciliation in Colombia was presented as a more efficient option for conflict resolution, but its use in practice has shown the opposite. This paper addresses the factors that affect its effectiveness, including ambiguity in regulation and the intervention of control entities. One of the main problems is the lack of use of administrative conciliation by public entities. It is necessary to address these challenges so that administrative conciliation fulfills its objective of resolving conflicts more efficiently.
