Natural History Museum News
Abstract
The Natural History Museum of the Universidad del Cauca, within its reorganization and enrichment plans, has integrated to its collection the valuable archaeological and ethnographic collections of the Museo Casa Mosquera of the same university, whose materials make up an extraordinary sample of ceramics, lithic and gold work of some pre-Hispanic aboriginal groups of the southwest of Colombia. There are also representative specimens of the material culture of current indigenous groups of the same region.
The deposits of the Archaeology Section contain materials resulting from field research or by acquisition and donation of others.
