Prolegomena to the historical archaeology of the temple of San Francisco in Popayán (part two)
Abstract
In the first part we described the funerary aspects of some of the findings in the cemetery of the central nave of San Francisco. To this we can add our interest in completing the information concerning the crypt that is behind the main altar and that has a series of ethnographic data regarding the disposition of the vaults and the inscriptions that are read there. This is another source of information that should be the subject of complementary work.
